The short version
- QuoteHero researches options and gives second opinions. A real person in the Twin Cities does the research and tells you which option he'd pick.
- You make the decisions, and you sign any contract directly with the business you choose. QuoteHero isn't a party to that contract and doesn't guarantee anyone's work.
- Odin, our assistant, is an AI. It gathers details and keeps you posted. Recommendations come from a person.
- We never sell your information.
Who we are
QuoteHero.ai is operated by [TO FILL: the LLC's legal name], a Minnesota limited liability company ("QuoteHero," "we," "us"). These terms cover quotehero.ai and everything in your QuoteHero account.
What QuoteHero does
- Find it for me. You tell us what you need. We research local options and send you a report with up to three options and the one we'd pick.
- Check what I found. You share a quote, a report, a deal, or research you already have, including an answer from another AI. We tell you whether it looks fair, high, or incomplete, and what to ask.
We serve the seven-county Twin Cities metro: Hennepin, Ramsey, Dakota, Washington, Anoka, Scott, and Carver counties.
What QuoteHero doesn't do
- We aren't a contractor, home inspector, real estate broker, lender, insurance agent, or car dealer, and we don't act as one.
- A home-buying review is a second look at the information you have. It is not a home inspection. Structural, electrical, sewer, and similar questions belong with a licensed specialist.
- We don't negotiate the purchase of a home, interpret purchase agreements, or suggest what to offer.
- We don't take loan or insurance applications. We compare the Loan Estimates and insurance quotes you get yourself.
- We're never the holder of a building permit. The licensed contractor doing the work pulls the permit, or you do for your own work on your homestead.
- Nothing we provide is legal, tax, financial, or medical advice.
Your decisions and the businesses you hire
Our reports are our honest opinion, based on what we found at the time. Prices, availability, and terms come from the businesses themselves and can change.
When you hire a business, your contract is with that business. Where Minnesota requires a license, we check it and note what we found and when. We don't guarantee any business's work, timing, or prices, and we aren't responsible for what they do or don't do.
When we contact businesses for you
We tell businesses we're asking on behalf of a client. We never share your name, address, or phone number with a business without your OK.
Accounts
- You must be 18 or older.
- One free account per household. Keep your sign-in private and your information accurate.
- We may suspend an account used to abuse free credits, mislead businesses, or harass anyone.
Credits and payments
- Each request uses credits. Current prices, and how many credits each kind of request uses, are on our pricing page. [TO FILL: link once the pricing page exists.]
- Free credits are added on the 1st of each month, Central time. Unused free credits expire at the end of the month; they don't roll over.
- Credits you buy don't expire.
- When you submit a request, a credit is held. It's used when we accept the request. If we decline it, or you cancel before we accept it, the credit comes back.
- Payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.

Odin, our AI assistant
Odin is an AI, and it can make mistakes. It doesn't recommend specific businesses, quote prices, or promise savings; those come from a person, in your report. You can ask for a person at any time. See our AI Disclosure.
What you agree not to do
- Use QuoteHero for anything illegal, or to harass, mislead, or spam anyone.
- Upload anything you don't have the right to share, or other people's personal information beyond what a request needs.
- Try to break, overload, scrape, or get around the limits of QuoteHero.
What you share with us
You keep ownership of what you upload. You let us use it to work on your requests and to run QuoteHero, as our Privacy Policy describes.
Disclaimers and limits

Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll tell you by email or in your account before it takes effect.
